watching the sky fall

tonight some friends and i were watching the meteor shower, well what we can see of it, being surrounded by the bright lights of southern california makes it hard to watch the stars... but it's just amazing to me to watch things like that happen, so much mystery yet still beautiful. it is very humbling because i am so small in comparision to the sky and the stars and everything else. well, finals are almost over and i am trying not to stress about it so it was nice to go out and watch the sky for an hour or so... i was able to escape from the stresses of this week... well i guess it is back to the books, in 72 hours i will be a very happy person!
