why do i keep running?

standing right in front of my face is a door of opportunity but i refuse to even look at it...

one year...

so i am a day late in writing this but that's better than 2!
a year ago (yesterday) i got my nose pierced :)
yea, i know not to big of a deal, but i just remembered that it happend on jan 31st so why not make it a blog?

in other news i have reignited my show craziness bonfire (if that makes any sense high five for you!) so let me tell you a little bit about them...

01.11.05 - free show at the key club with kiev and slow coming day
first was slow coming day and i think they are awesome, they should get a lot more attention than they do. their bass player was awesome. then there was kiev which i learned is pretty much the same people as fairview but different type of music i guess. i loved them, and their ep is AWESOME. then there was a band called the red west or something like that. i was really excited cause they looked very indie (i love indie guys ) and they had a cello player but sadly i was let down, they weren't that great. too high of expectations...

01.21.05 - battle of the bands @ pepperdine
the bands were ok, the hosts (robby and me) were amazing... the end

01.22.05 - melee @ troub
no words can describe the awesomeness of melee, seriously.

01.28.05 - action action, lovedrug, waking ashland, etc. @ chain
i went to the show to see action action... lovedrug and waking ashland were just bonuses :) i got there as "the colour turning" was ending they seemed cool, but waking ashland was cooler. and then lovedrug played like 3 songs but ended early because the lead singer got really sick that day. action action, suprisingly, was AMAZING. i went expecting something like the aka's and stuff, but they were totally different and better than i could have imagined! i am now a bigger fan of action action (the cd is amazing)

01.29.05 - the colour
another show that words cannot describe. i love the colour, i have seen them more times than anyone should see any band in a year, but each time they just get better... just wonderful
